Activities There
are many things to do at Rush Lake Resort for both the young and the young at heart. There
are many outdoor activities such as volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, basketball and
shuffleboard. There is is also plenty of sand for everyone to build castles until their
heart's content. Paddle boats and canoes as well as kayaks, are available for free use to
guests. They'll provide hours of enjoyment on the lake. For the little ones, there
is a swing set and slide on the beach. Our 250 foot dock offers the young angler a chance
to catch a trophy fish, while our sunning deck and floating swimming platform allows
others to work on that tan! Our swimming beach is covered by tons of sand and the swimming
area is level with no drop offs, water depth out 300 feet is only 6 feet. |

Fest Country Music Festival, Phelps Mill Festival, North West Water Carnival, Looney Days, Turkey Days, Pioneer Days, Potato Festival and many others throughout the year. |
| Fishing Everyone's favorite activity seems to be trying to catch some of the many types of fish found in Rush Lake. Fishing is very good early spring, fall and throughout the summer. Walleye, Northern Pike, Large
Crappie and Sunfish as well as Perch and Largemouth Bass can be found here. The lake has a
fantastic amount of bottom structure, sand flats, lilly pads as well as rush flats and
depths up to 80 feet afford a wide variety of fishing challenges on this 5,300 acre lake.
A 14 or 16 foot boat is provided with each cottage, and your private boat is also welcome,
no charge for dockage. We have a 225 foot fishing dock. Motors can be rented if
desired. Boat seat cushions are provided on a first come basis as are life jackets. If you
have them please bring them, ours are free to guests but are limited. |
| For Your Convenience For our guests we offer the following services: washer and dryer, licenses, gas, oil, bait, bagged ice. Guide services available by reservation. Freezer wrap and extra freezing space is available at no charge. We provide: inner tubes for the kids, picnic tables, Weber grills, lawn chairs, and telephone and email in the office. A public boat landing is half a mile away and we'll assist all who need help loading / unloading their boats. High chairs and cribs at no charge, please bring your own sheets for the baby beds. We also assist our senior citizens to make their stay comfortable. |
